Coco-Ben

It was only a small show, held in the church grounds in Llandaff near Cardiff but the turnout was pretty big.
There were four pedigree classes followed by the novelty classes.
Our little Coco was the first of ours to go in the ring with the Pedigree puppies, 14 puppies in total with Coco being 2nd youngest. She wasn't quite as nervous as last time and walked really well but didn't seem to enjoy being felt by the judge. She took 4th place
Next came the adult dog groups and Benji went into the Utility/Working/Pastoral group, 9 dogs in total were in the ring. Benji really turned it on and while the judge was feeling him she made some very positive noises, lots of hmmmm's and oh yeahs lol. He took 2nd place :-D
We were quite pleasantly surprised by the lack of 'professionals' at this show. We only spotted one couple who had kept their dogs in cages before going into the show. Both of their dogs did well and took 1st and 2nd in the group after Benji's.
There were a couple of dogs who had what I class as irresponsible owners. They were allowing their dogs to bark and snap at other dogs with no discipline at all. One of them even bit the owners child and got away with it. The other snapped at Benji and I just had to speak up. If a dog is known to be this way it should either wear a muzzle or not be taken, training didn't seem to be an option for the owners, they just didn't care. Such a shame.
So proud of my babies, not just for the results but for the way they are with others too :-D:-D
