View Full Version : hi all
I am not new to lhasas. I got my first 20 years ago, he's been gone for 5 years. He had a "sister" who is now 12 and currently in my lap. I lost my 3 1/2 year old in april due to chronic liver disease. We were all shocked, and I am not quite over it. BUT...I am an expectant mother! I am waiting for the breeder to call me any minute! I will get another girl, they seemed easier to train. Her name will be Yogi. I get them groomed about every 2 months, as i have no interest in showing them. I used to do it myself, but was never very good at it, and once my back gave out, it was easier for all of us. I am so excited!:-P
Hi Sharon,
Welcome to lhasaworld.org,
I hope that you enjoy your visits.
As you have owned lhasa's for a long period of time,
you will have had your own experiences within the breed.
You will also be of the same opinion as most of us on here,
that they have huge personalities in little bodies.
Also being the wonderful breed that they are,
you don't want to be without them in your life.
Unfortunately with having these little ones,
heartache comes to.
So sorry to hear about your little ones that are no longer with you in body,
but they will always be with you in spirit.
I hope that your breeder's girl has an easy birth with no complications,
& that a little girl is born for you.
Showing is not for everyone,
as it can be quite political,
coming into the lhasa breed can be quite hard.
Also if you are not showing,
keeping a coat is dedicated hard work.
Could you please let us know the name of your 12 year old girl.
I also bet that you are really excited about your possible new addition.
I know I would be.
Look forward to hearing from you,
reading and replying to posts & getting to know you,
also let us know when Yogi makes her appearance into this world.
Once again welcome Sharon
