Been kind of quiet the last few days. Work and home been busy. Well Henry has a new home. I got a call on Sunday, and went to meet the family about 2 hours from here. Was not real sure of the fit at first, but get an email last night from the family that has him and they said he is doing fine. I was worried as they have a young baby and was not sure if knew about dogs and such. They told me that Henry loves the baby and wants to be right near him, the baby looks for him. They are very happy with Henry and sound like he has a great home where he will be well cared for.
So for now I have no babies at home. Boy Bailey will be visiting this weekend for a couple of days and then they are taking Miss Bailey home with them. My sister has made an appointment to get her groomed and nails done. Right now Bailey has short hair but I'm thinking my sister will let it grow longer.
Waiting to see my first tie between Libby and Indy, by the looks of things it could be any day now. She is starting to flash her butt. So I'm thinking puppies around 9/23 or so. I leave for my trip about then so hope it might be sooner. But she will be in good hands with my vet, won't be the same as if she was at home but I won't worry about her while on my trip. I would worry if she was at home as mom or Nathan have no clue. It is well worth what I pay my vet to keep her. So I'm still playing the waiting game.
More on my trip later.
Oh here is the post on Henry (thought I had missed something as per my other post). I am so happy that at last Henry has a new and loving home! Sounds like a real good set up and that everything is going just fine - I think you will miss him Bridget - I know I would after all this time. He is going to have a good life and quite rightly deserves it too.
As for Libby and Indy, good luck.................I just wish Lexi would start to flash her butt too as you so comicly put it  made me laugh  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Your time will come. People here at work don't like the way I talk as I think nothing of discussing my dogs private life. I have have little terms for different things, when I'm talking you have no idea I"m talking about the dogs. It sounds like something out of Cory Street. You have to laugh when you watch Libby...she has no clue and goes flashing to everyone but Indy.
Lexi must be a couple days off from Libby in her cycle, I'm guess the weekend for her.
Yes I will miss Henry, I sent them pictures of him as a baby last night. I also told them the story about Peanut and how I didn't payHenry or Chunky any attention but when she past he helped me through it. But this is also part of the process.
So far all the puppies are doing great. Heard from Willie, Maija, Abby this the other day. Abby is the love of her mom and has made friends with the 2 cats.

Thank you. I forgot to mention I spoke with Noggy and Libby's breeder and she says that she has had no problems with knee's in any of her puppies. So I'm not even going to worry about either one of these guys.

That must be exciting having all these puppies. I know I loved having Gracie and her pups for 9 weeks. It was hard to see them go but I was happy for them when they found good homes. Yeah, you have a quiet house now, only to be busy again with the pitter patter of puppy feet. Enjoy it whilst you can.
You have a Hedgehog? Cool!!! I've seen them in the pet stores but never had one. I like to rescue exotics. I have had Sugar Glider's, Ferret's, snakes, teranchellas, (can't spell) lizards of all sorts. I still have turtles.

Sugar gliders are like flying squirles. They are rodents and live in cages. Kind of neat. But will stick with the hedgehog.

Yes I will be enjoying the peace for now. Bailey leaves this weekend. Starting to think its a really good thing as she is very needy and has this thing about pawing and pawing you when she wants something. She will do it day or night.
It's starting to look like it will be late September and October for puppies. The break is nice but you kind of miss having the little ones around the house. Lots of work but nice all the same. This time I will be looking to keep one so even nicer.
Yes I have a hedgehog, see the section about our other friends.

You are welcome. They are cute, but not sure what the draw is about them.

With me, its their faces..............I just love their little, cute and innocent faces! They are life just like any other animal/mammal/rodent etc but they are one of the cutest - quills and all :-D xxxxxxxxx

No me neither but to be honest, I think I would have to see one and experience their close proximity to me before I would know if I liked them or not - or even if they scared me  xxxxxx

I really found the sugar glider had quite a personality, but I do not like keeping exotics. I only had the sugar glider for a few weeks until I found a proper home for him. It's just another set of care sheets with different habitat's, diets, etc... I don't have the time. The turtles are easy, I just have to change the water twice a month and feed them. The chore of building the outdoor habitat is already done. I'll rescue them, but that's as far as it goes.
I'm gonna check out your hedgehog right now.
Mmmm I think I will stick to Lhasas :-D xx

Heghogs are not that bad once you get the set up going. We only have to clean the cage once a week, water and feed daily. Nails need to be done from time to time.
lhasas are much nicer i'll always have them.
And me too Bridget, I couldnt even begin to imagine life without them xxx

My house is very quiet right now. The 2 Bailey's left yesterday. I enjoyed boy Bailey while he was here. He and Noggy got on great and loads of fun playing in the yard. Miss Bailey had no clue that she was going on a trip to be spoiled. I did get some pictures, just need to get them off the camera.
I will be checking in with sister today to see how they made out on the trip and how her night went last night.
I had my 2 girls as shadows yesterday. Sam and NOggy where any place that I was. Brandy was not far behind telling everyone what to do. Then there are the 2 love birds chasing each other around the house. They are so pethtic. When I left for work today the love birds with resting in their crate, so I left them there with the door shut and gave Hobo some extra outside time. Those 2 will get let out later today.
I willl try to down load the pictures of boy Bailey, Bailey, Noggy and Libby that I took this weekend.
Boy have NOggy and Libby gotten to be very nice color, If I say so myself.

Thanks I should but not use to it. With any luck we should have new puppies by late September. But now we know who in the house was making all the noise.

I got pictures put onto my facebook page. They are not new ones but I have all the dogs, Sandy and a couple of older pictures of my son.
Working on the other pictures soon.
Yes it is nice to see everyone playing nicely.
I heard from my sister and Bailey is getting on fine at her house. She is sleeping nights with boy Bailey at least for now until she gets use to the new house, then she will move into one of the girls rooms at night. Just want to be sure she has no accidents at night, but so far so good on that front. Boy Bailey is not happy to have Bailey at the house as his noise is out of joint. She gets to be out of the playpen and he is stuck inside. She can be good and he still has alot to learn. I told her I won't be a pain checking on her all the time but just want to make sure she settles in nicly.

Glad to hear all is going well and Im sure Boy Bailey will come round - they always do and then they will play brilliantly together! Can I ask if there will be any confusion over them both having the same name  xxxxxxxxx

No they go by boy Bailey and girl Bailey. Girl Bailey has been called many names in the last couple of years....BailBail or bailbee is one she was call most. I'm sure one of them will get a new nick name to make it less confusing. But so far its working out okay.
