Our pooches can suffer from flatulence as we all know (well I do lol) but I think sometimes we have to be aware of the level of flatulence that occurs.
Most cases are not due to serious health issues but if the 'wind' has suddenly appeared or has recently become worse, it 'could' indicate an underlying problem which could be anything from a dietary allergy to serious bowel disease.
There are two other main causes of 'wind'.................
Food and gulping air!
Activated charcoal, ant-acids from the vets and live yoghurt all help to relieve this symptom.
There are special bowls that can be purchased now with built-in mini columns so that your pooch has to 'pick' his/her way through to the food slowly to prevent the gulping of air.
Thankfully, Honey has been the only one with 'wind' but this was only the once! xx
