First time puppy's had a bath.
First time I've bathed a puppy.
Oh my word.
Why did nobody warn me what a WET experience that was gonna be??! He wriggled and squirmed and cried...for all of the 2 minutes he was in the water...and for the ten minutes it took me to dry him...he cried and he cried...aw oh it was pitiful.....
It was only a very quick one to get his tummy area and legs clean where he has been weeing all over himself...he was NOT impressed!!!
Have just snuggled him in a blanket to warm up in his bed. He is glaring at me. Lol lol lol

Awww! Wait til he's a bit biger and he learns to jump out the bath without touching the sides!!! Wicket was a nightmare when he was a pup but when he got older .... he was still a nightmare!!!!
Wicket was bathed regularly as a pup but has never liked baths. I hope Gucci doesn't turn out like that!

Yes, he was rather miffed, and then just cried and cried...aw I could have cried with him...and do you know I got him out, wrapped him in a towel, and went upstairs, and he was still crying...and Diesel came out from under Xiola's bed and licked his head as if to say "Its alright mate" Aaaaaah it was SO sweet!!!

Aw, well it was Diesels turn for the bath today and my God did I ever get soaked...
Where he is longer now I had to pay more attention to his underneathies, and he jumped out of the bath while I was distracted down there...and shook his shampoo-ey body all over me!!!
lmao...............Eeeeek been there hon and got the "wet" T - shirt!!!! lol lol

It was funny though...I managed to catch him quite quickly but in the process of doing so I made myself wetter than Diesel had already done!!!

Well Gucci has done a fine job of weeing all over his back legs and tummy and even though Im using baby wipes all the time, he still looks like he needs a bath again? What do you think?

A trick my breeder (Raven's breeder really, but i phone her that often ...) told me was that you should use a wee bit of fairy liquid (orginal green stuff) on white dogs where they pee. It gets the pee out and helps to stop it staining in the future. Just wet him underneath then use a wee spot of fairy liquid to create a lather, then wash it off. The breeder in question has been breeding for well over 50 years and she's produced a champion white lhasa girl that she used this on (years ago) ... Raven is the spitting image of her!

Well, have done the Fairy Liquid on Gucci tonight and it worked a treat he put up quite a bit of resistance to getting in the sink though haw haw haw!!!

flynn still squats sometimes and other times he lifts his leg, i think it depends if its windy or not, i think he's feert(scared) incase he gets blown over mid flow :lol::lol: herhehehehhehe xxx
