View Full Version : Honey bathed today
Here is Honey - I bathed and groomed her today.........since then she has been out in the rain three times and sat on a very wet mud patch!!!! Couldnt take a photo until tonight because Dulcie took my camera to work with her (not happy about that one!!!!!!). So Honey's banding is not as it was when I first banded it earlier today! Scratched at it twice at least - sods law!!!!!! And she kept turning her head away from the camera!!!!!!! xx

Thanks Nancy and Pamela..............think by this time she was fed up because it did actually take me alot longer this time to groom her out and I suppose when I sat her back on the grooming table, she may have thought "oh no, not again" ;) ;) ;) ;) xxxx
Wow Lia she loks GORGEOUS.
I dont blame her for being fed up mind ..........how long could we sit on a table getting our hair done???...........Mmmmm now I think about it hours... my new hairdresser is a bit of a dish :oops: xxx

Aw, she's looking beautiful :D . This weather is a pain though, you spend all that time bathing and grooming and then it can be all ruined in a matter of minutes. She looks fab though, the bands are very pretty! xxx

Beautiful Lia, I'm shocked at how many times your able to wash and groom and band your three, I manage a quick groom every night or every other night and then a good groom at some point at weekends, under arms and paws and bum if you know what I mean, although my three are still relatively short - must take new pics to show you :)
Thank you everyone and Claire, I was well overdue this time in bathing them due to the weather :lol: :lol: :lol: and you have to remember that I retired from work so Im a housewife so Im bound to have more time to see to them :D :D :D :D Not doing Bruce until tomorrow :D xx

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: No but it was hubby who insisted that I stay at home in 2003 and it took me a year to get used to it as I'd worked all my life but now, I dont think I could go back to work :roll: :roll: The one thing I will not be doing though is have another baby :o :o :o :o Been there and done it - now its 'our' time :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I'll just stick with Lhasas from now on :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

But I was also broody when I got Roxy,so if we work it out in 18 mths I'll be getting another............Yippee cant wait........what colour should I have next :lol: :lol: :lol:

lol lol he pulls them out as quick as I put them in lol lol I love to see his eyes because they are gorgeous but Bruce thinks differently lol lol lol and yanks them out lol lol

She will get used to it - actually Lexi used to do this then all of a sudden out of the blue, she stopped and infact, Lexi's will stay in place the longest between her and Honey. x

Furnishings!!!!!!!!!! Love that description.....I read it in a Lhasa book and it just made me imagine Lhasas with wardrobes on their heads!!!!!!!!

Really? Wow. I had to trim all round Diesels eyes after his bath earlier cos as you know he has dry-eye so he gets very sticky and gunky. Gucci has very runny eyes but the vet said not to be concerned at the moment. I have ordered some Angel Eyes for him though Im not sure when I can use it, hopefully it will come with full instructions xx

When I bath mine, I just wash it out and each day I just pull it away with my nails............then wash my hands of course lol lol then dampen their corners with warm water and cotton pads xxxxxxxxx

I use a comb for Diesels gunky bits...and I wash his eyes at least once a day...if the grass has been cut I put a smearing of Vaseline on too x
