:P :P I really enjoyed watching this Anj and Flower did real good! Her legs were going like a little train, bless, and she held her head up very well. I think you were panicking more than Flower :lol: :lol: mind you, so would I be too :lol: I think she was a little nervous at first but she soon got the hang of it. Is'nt it great that the family are all interested in Flower's progress and Sandra was obvioulsy enjoying giving a helping hand too. You have a great family there Anj and the surroundings look fab! Aw...bless Anj...I did already see that I spotted it on there last night...that is so cute and as I said on the comment I left, I love her little audience at the end and the way they all jump up when she does her little twirl!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Oh Anjeanette, just how embarassed am I............ when your first came on here as a new member, ofcourse I fell in love with Flower disability and all and wanted her,(she still does have a very special place in my heart), asked to pay her airfair.. then when i knew you had fallen in love with her and kept her... asked if i could somehow contribute to her up keep, to help you out to pay for her treats..( I just went from your lead as a rescue'er,).. you have such a wonderfull home, no wonder you declined my offer.. I am so sorry if i insulted you in anyway, obv. i didn't think you destitute.. but wondered if you needed help financially, when you actually live like a film star!!!!!!!! with your own pool etc.. I mean it from the bottom of my heart if i ever offended you, my apologies are here for all to read and I mean that most sincerely Anjeanette.xx night god bless you xx P.s. what a wonderfull job you have done with the lovely Flower my heart still belongs with her! and i just love seeing these wonderfull pictures of her, to think of the start she had in life., and there she is swimming with Nanny! in her own pool. xx

Yes, all in all she did pretty well. She did tilt her head to the side a bit, but with a little more practice I think she can learn to swim to the steps. Although my worst fears are over. She does see the pool and is very careful not to fall in. I don't stand between her and the pool anymore, I am allot more comfortable with her running around it. Even in her circling frenzy she never falls in.

BTW that is my parents backyard with the pool. I have a much smaller yard and no lake or pool. They love to go to grammas house and run around chasing each other and the ducks off the back lawn. I gotta get a video of that one day.

Flower was the main reason I became a member on the forum and I was so unsure about her future. All the diagnosis on Flower was bleak, I thought she was going to suffer and need all kinds of medical intervention and I was posting my concerns of her leading a quality life and if she was going to suffer (Much like Lia's Barney) I was going to put her to sleep. I did say to you all on the forum that if Flower was going to suffer I would do the humane thing. You, my dear, only responded out of love and true care from your heart for Flower. It was never a question of me not loving her or going above and beyond to save her life, but I could never let an animal suffer. I know when enough is enough. But Flower beat all the odds and seems to only suffer from a neurological vision impairment.

So I understood from the beginning that you were just this kind person and I adored you from your first cries of concern for Flower. If anything you and everyone else helped me through a very scary time. I had no clue what to expect but your love and concern was the one glue that held me together and gave me the confidence to see her through to the end. I was so proud the day the adoption was finalized and Flower was truely mine. She also has you as her Godmother and I have told my daughter that if anything ever happened to me I wanted her to get Flower to England to live with you Daisybell. So you really are her Godmother. I have been saying I need to make a Will for my daughter God forbid something ever did happen. I don't want her to spend years in court fighting for my assets. But I was planning to include what I want done with my pets. Including my turtles. I have already verbalized my wishes to my daughter but I should get it legalized. I'm not joking.

What I am trying to say is, no need to apologize. I understood where you were coming from and I never ever felt insulted. So no worries mate. My Dear Friend Yvonne.

awwww anj, flower brought the biggest smile to my face seeing her in swimming, i felt like a proud mum, so im sure you feel even more proud of her knowing that she's all yours, i did get a wee fright when she was going it alone and her body seemed to go under a bit, but i heard the same worry in your voice aswell, flower did really good though, when i get home from work tonight (11pm) ill show my mum, she'll be so pleased to see this as ive told her all about flower and infact everyone and every pooch on here :D :D xxxx

I know, I tell my mum all about you and your doggies too. I always show her the newest pictures on the forum when I go to her house, so she can put a face where I have bragged.

Yeah, I was freaking out a bit there. Sorry!!! I guess I am a worry wart. I had the scenerio worked out in my brain "drop camera, jump in to save Flower", But is was my mother's camera, she would have flipped and I trust my mother more than anyone so deap down I knew she was safe. I didn't like when she said "ok someone catch her" Of course no one even moved toward the pool to help. :o :shock:

OH Anjeanette how honoured am I....but firstly i must stress, never was the question for me that you would do anything other than the right thing for the lovely Flower... I know that sometimes the kindest (and hardest) thing to do is let a very ill babe go to sleep, the one thing thankfully you CAN do for a pet which unfortunatley you can't a human put an end to their suffering... that for me with you was never an issue i knew she had a loving, and wonderfull "fostermom" in you..It was just that ... on the original forum you were "fostermom" so i thought that was just your capasisty... to foster.. and the rest as they say is history... i thought Flower just in your care for the time being looking for a home and i fell in love with her, my heart was hers.. disabilablity an all i fell in love with her and wanted to do all i could for her, to help where i could, she really did ,and still has an hold on my heart... but to read you would actually leave her to my care...........WOW thank you from the bottom of my heart with such an honour, although please god this will NEVER be the case., as i am sure it will never be.. you are needed by god to do his work for him as you have been, dogs need you and you are doing such a worthy cause, god bless you, next i am looking for your post on the rescue tennessee dogs, but once again thank you for the honour you have bestowed on me..trully god mother to Flower thank you and what is her date of birth???? I as her god mother need to know!!! (mean that sincerely)xx
