while at blackpool show i bought a bottle of that yumega stuff that says it helps skin and coat, as one of my lhasas coats seems a bit thin, so i thought this might help, has anyone tried it? and if so how'd you get on with it?, im always just a wee tad wary when it comes to adding stuff to there food/diets, so im just wondering if you or someone you may know has tried it on there pooches
when i do try it, i think ill start with callan and blue (my guinnie pigs :lol: ) as i dont show them :D xxx

I've been using it since about February. I was using the vitagroom coat oil stuff from 8 weeks til then. With raven, it didn't really thicken her coat any, but it gave it a nice shine and it kept her skin in great condition. When i was using the vitagroom i noticed she was getting wee bits of dry skin just along her shed but the Yumega sorted that. As you know, i've been trying to put coat on Raven and (it might just be me) but I think she has made a massive improvement coat wise since skc. I've been using fit n fertile k9 formula on her food. I think that has been great for thickening up her coat.

Yes I remember mentioning Yumega on the last forum but never got around to buying it because I had heard that its no different to Omega 3,6 & 9 and the only difference is the price. So hence I was in two minds which to get. I have seen in it Pet Stores at £11.00 per bottle - not sure if you got it cheaper Pamela but I suppose it varies everywhere. So no, I can't comment on how good it is personally although Ive heard wonder stories about how its brilliant xxx

OK Pamela you have seen Shadow so you know what his coat is like, i have used it on him & the others for about 8 months and i am also giving Ebony some, everyone that sees Shadow says how great his coat is and apparently blacks coats usually go though a horrible stage. Don't know if its the Yumega or not, but not willing to stop it now incase its that which is making his coat so fantastic.

Also give it to Ollie but as i clipped him off when he was young his coat has taken a long time to get in good condition again and to grow but i took him to the groomers (1st time ever) and he said his coat was great especially since i had cut it really short before. Not long now and he will be backin the ring. Its not as good as Shadows but i never think it would have been in any case as Ollies coat is wavey.

I personally would recommend it. I bought mine from the internet the yumega site and had a code to enter so that if you buy 6 bottles you got it for £7.99 and free P&P this is the 2nd lot i am onto, so for 2 beardies and 3 Lhasas, i have used 9 bottles in the last 8 months so you could say its less than a bottle a month and the beardies have twice as much as the lhasas.

It is expensive to pay for 6 bottles in one go but its better than paying £11.99 per bottle.

well tonight was the first a couple of them got (in there food) ill see how it goes in a months time and if i see it working then ill try it on the other 3
shadows coat is lovely he's a wee cracker, thanks folks, we'll see how this bottle goes and if it works a treat then ill buy it in bulk order xxx

Ok, I gave them all some tuna about half an hour ago and put in the Plaque Off and the Yumega, mixed it very well..................it took Honey ages to eat it!!! I hope she will get used to it! xxxx
