Welcome to the Forum Lydia. Your Coco certainly looks like a Lhasa. She looks pretty small. How much does she weigh? They do grow on you eventually. Can't help but fall in love with their cute little selves.
Anyway... you are the first from Singapore here on the forum that I know of. There are members here from all over the world. My name is Anjeanette, I'm from the United States, near Miami, Florida and I have a special Lhasa girl named Flower.
Wow, Singapore, that's so cool!!! My grandmother still brags of her trip to Singapore and how wonderful all the people were. She got to go because my Uncle worked for Chevron as an engineer and used to live in Singapore for 6 months out of the year working on their huge oil ships. You must have a really huge port there in Singapore.
Welcome, you will love the people and pets on here!!! :D ;)

Thanks very much, Anjeanette!
Coco weighs 5.6 Kg, around 12.3 lbs. I sent her for her 5-in-one jab at the vet last September and she was 5.4 Kg. That was way before I started her on home-cooked-food 2 times a day and lots of treats. And grew her hair. We certainly thought she would have become a lot heavier now. She really looks heavier and fluffier! But at the vet visit a few weeks back, I was surprised to hear that she has maintained her weight. She put on all of 200g, despite everything I've been giving her - she's so greedy - ... hmmm ...

She looks smaller but that is the average weight of a Lhasa. She looks pure Lhasa to me.
I usually keep all my dogs hair short but when their hair starts getting long people always ask me if they are gaining weight. Then I shave them down again and they realize they never gained and ounce. Thank you by the way for putting that in pounds for me. I would never have known otherwise.
Hi Lydia , welcome to the the forum.

Hello Lydia
A huge warm welcome to the forum. I was really shocked and so very pleased to have a member on who lives in Singapore - WOW!!! Thank you so much for joining. I know for a fact you will become addicted..............I just cannot get through the day without thinking about this forum
Your Coco looks adorable and you obvioulsy love her so very much. Her weight is spot on actually so you haven nothing to worry about.
I have three Lhasas, Honey (just over 2 1/2 years old). Lexi (just over 2 years old) and Bruce (18 months now). I keep my three all long coated although I do not show them, they are pets.................very spoilt pets   I am breeding with Lexi this year (hopefully if all goes well) and I have started her own Diary (under Breeding and Whelping section). If you go into the Our Lhasas Pride and Joy, you will be able to see photos that we have put on there of all our Lhasas and maybe you would like to post some more pics of your Coco for us all to share.
Anyway, we all look forward to chatting with you very soon and once again, welcome. Love Lia xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
