Which foods do you feed your pooches? My 3 are on Burns and their favourite Burns' food is Minibites! I also use Burns' treats as everything is holistic and Lexi's food intolerence has now ceased. Lia xxx

i feed mine of a variety of dog food and human food as im sure like us over time eating the same thing can become boring (just my opinion) so i feed, pedigree (dry and wet), arden grange (dry), pro plan (dry), james well beloved (wet), they also get boiled rice, pasta, chicken, pasta, liver, heart, fish and of course theyre vegetables
whilst introducing a different brand of food in i always do this gradualy xx

;) ;) ;) You know, some time ago before I changed, my 3 really struggled on Crackerjacks but my mate's dog woofed them down!!! Talk about faddy eaters!!! xxx

:lol: yeah Ebony struggles with the crackerjacks because they're quite big, she has to keep throwing them at the floor to break them, I've started getting the minijacks for her, they're tiny in comparison. Molly as always woofs everything down without even chewing! :lol: xxx

My two get Royal Canin. Raven gets the Shih Tzu one because she is so thin still, and Wicket gets the medium dog junior one (we were feeding Raven on it til SKC and the bag needs eating - good old Wick will eat anything!!!).
I have half a bag of the burns food that my babies didn;t like, but luckily burns is supposed to be really good to feed rats so Zunder and Fury will be eating up the rest of that!
Incidentally, remember how (in the old forum) you said to contact burns and get a free sample of the food to see which flavour they like? ... well, no response to the e-mail and no sample :(

:o :o :o Sorry you didnt get a reply from Burns, this is very out of character because they always reply as far as I know - Im very surprised. It took my three a few go's before they heartily ate Burns and they now love it xxxxx

;) ;) ;) I tried to tell someone I know not to feed her doggies Bakers not so long ago because its full of colourings and additives and she said that it was one of the cheaper brands and that it helped her financially. Ok I can understand if someone is a bit 'short' of cash but if I were short of cash, my pooches would eat first before me I can tell you! xxxxxxxxxxxx

Do you know how stressed its been here lately ??? ............No computer... :o ......and then they go and move house . :o .I dont know whether I'm coming or going Deisel and then when we do get back I find out you have been fratonising with others while the whole time I have been totally loyal to you!! :? I mean there is others who could have my attention you know like young Blue (Mmmm) or Bruce (Yum) or what about Wicket ...now he is gorgeous ...he looks just like me . :D Hee hee.
Anyway I will let you off this once but be warned I am keeping tabs on you ;)

:!: :!: what do you all think about the 'Butchers' range of food? Not that I am going to use it but I read somewhere and also heard that the tinned variety of Butchers is supposed to be one of the best 'tinned' food !!!????!!!! Hey???????

I've never tried the tinned butchers, but both of mine liked the butchers puppy tray things as an occasional treat. But the butchers 2 in 1 food that you can add water to make a gravy: my two hated it. They wouldn't even eat it dry or with proper gravy over it. I got the free sample fae the telly when it first came out but it ended up hitting the bin.

Diesel liked tinned Butchers for a while but then went off it...no surprises there the fussy little Diva!!! His favourites are Sainsburys own brand small trays (like Caesar) I know he will always eat thos xx

Coco used to be on Pedigree wet food (beef) canned food because she would only eat Pedigree, and not the other brands. We gave it to her mixed with bread or rice. Later on we heard that it was not such a good idea to give her that, especially after I found a lump near her nipple and the vet thought she had breast cancer, but advised that we monitor the growth of the lump. Thankfully, the lump disappeared. I really think that's due to the good old home cooked food I've been giving her after I researched online and came up with a recipe that she's comfortable with now. I feed her boiled chicken, carrots, potatoes, peas, some hard-boiled egg, rice - all cooked by boiling in water with no seasonsing whatsoever. And she loves it!
Of course she gets treats besides her main meals :) Greedy as she is, she turns up her nose at dry food, and nothing can make her eat those - she simply spits them out again!

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: he he I can just see her spitting it out one by one :lol: :lol: :lol: I also feed boiled chicken minus skin and bones of course, pasta, rice, fish aswell as dried foods. They love eggs but I limit this because it could cause consitipation and they adore Garlic and thankfully, garlic is excellent for them. They also love plain yogurt but it makes a mess of the hair around the mouth :lol: :lol: They would also kill for cheese too and again, I limit this. i know this isnt about a lhasa but my last labrador wouldnt eat anything else apart from pedigree and butchers range of foods and the pedigree treats, he was partial to a chinese at the weekend though (bbq spare ribs, had to pick the beef off as he never got the bones) :D xx

Hi, just to say...and I dunno if Ive done the right thing...but in this hot weather Ive been getting Diesel small cartons of doggy milk and giving him that to drink at nights...its nice and cold from the fridge, and he LOVES it when we get in from our walkies!!

Thought you'd like to see an up to date pic of our gorgeous little Milly with her favourite toy.
My two Lhasas are fed on Burns mini bites and they both love it. They also love the Burns treats range...their favourite being Venison Ears.

I do not feed any of my lhasa's on tinned dog meat,
I find that it is to rich for there stomach's,
ends up giving them diarrhoea.
I used to feed Eukanuba
until I found out the way they conducted there animal testing.
Since then I do not supporting Eukanuba and Iams.
I do feed meat,
but it is only fresh meat,
that I purchase,
which is fit for human consumption,
I do a cook off,
then mince it and freeze it.
My pups love Burns,
that is one of the foods,
that I do generally use when they start lapping
