Didn't know where to put this so i put it in here....... i am going to look for a new wife for Ollie & Shadow on Tuesday she's almost 4 weeks old and looks very much like Shadow............ Have been thinking of a new name and possibly a KC name too but i think i have it.......... Ollie is Olivers Twist, Shadow is Me anmy Shadow and i think this little girl should be Shadey as in Shadey Lady, what do you think? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

I love and hate it when you see them for the first time. I love seeing them and falling in love with them, but I hate having to leave them!!! I filled my digi cam with photos of raven the first time I saw her! I was so in love! I can't wait to see some photos of shadey!!!

Well............. bad news and good news
BAD NEWS - went to see the pup today took us 3hours 45 mins to get there luckily we stopped off for a coffee and a bite to eat before we arrived. We were there 30 minutes and then left, i did have a litter to see tomorrow but the bitch has been sold . This litter today the black one was definately the runt and looked about a week younger than the others. one of the pups had an ear flap missing, and they had very low set tailsand the tails were also very short. one of the pups had been taken away as the couple were keeping it. they had started to wean the pups, the pups didn't walk yet and they were almost 4 weeks old!!!!1 Then there was the mum poor thing she looked as if she had had about 10 litters but we were told it was her second litter, she had no fur on her back and her underneath was all matted the pups had really taken it out of her. The other thing was we had travelled all that way and they asked us how long it had took and they NEVER even offered us a drink. We asked the questions but as i said i was feeling uncomfortable after 30 minutes we left and arrived home at 7:pm.

GOOD NEWS - had a phone call from a colleague of my brothers she said she had been meaning to ring me for about 6 weeks, she wanted to know all about lhasas, she had wanted one of mine but my brother had told her they were all sold. Anyway we got on talking amd i was asking her about the pedigree and about eye tests etc. and she just happened to mention that it was a black dog that she was getting. Well talk about fate........... i asked for the tel. no. of this breeder and rang her up, she told me that she had mated one of her bitches and the other was booked in to be spayed but the dog got her too, well the result was that between the 2 bitches they had 11 puppies. 3 gold and 8 black................. 5 of them are bitches. They are off to the vets tomorrow for their vet check and 1st immunisation and they should be back around 6:30pm so i aqm ringing then and as they haven't been advertised yet i have the pick of the bitch in both litters 5 black ones to choose from.
The best news is they live about 6 miles from me can you believe that?????? This has to be fate. SO the saga continues and i will update tomorrow after i have seen them.

Well its bad news again ......................... for the breeder this time :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: There were 3 that i looked at to consider buying, there was very little between them. The smallest we discounted, the other 2 we had standing and just watched for a few minutes but i noticed that when my friend stood one and i stood the other the one she had dropped its tail when she stood it and was also a little nervous not much but a little. The one i was holding stood like a rock, tail over her back and has such a sweet expression, :D :D :D :D :D :D my eyes had been drawn to her when i first saw them, but i waited for my friend to give her opinion. She told me she liked the one i was holding and i agreed.
So we brought her home....... :D :D :D :D :D :D
NAMES this is a problem..... i did say i liked Meeshka.... but still thinking so get your thinking caps on and help me out here i need some ideas, her KC name is on the theme of Catherine Cookson books but i have never read any and i don't get her KC registration paperrs until the next few days, so please anyone any ideas?

What about dective related names like Inny/innocent or if you wanted a normal name you could use Angela as in Angela Lansbury or Heather as in Heather Babcock.

Or you could have the name Shalott from the poem "Lady of Shalott" which has the line "The mirror crack'd from side to side" which is the name of a miss marple book.

If I put some thought into it I could come up with a huge list!

Well thats really strange because Im on mine ok. Try clicking where it says 'forgot your password' and alter it to something else when the instruction comes back - that might be the easiest way. Poor Ebony hasn't been too well last night or this morning she's had a touch of the Dia rears she seems a little better this afternoon and is eating ok would normally starve them if they were like this but not pups, she's drinking plenty so not too worried, and she doesn't have a temp so thats good too, just wondering what treats hubby has been feeding her, he says he hasn't given her anything but i found him giving her a tiny bit of digestive buiscuit the other day.

Hubbies .. you can't trust them. They're as bad as mums! My mum, chris's mum and chris spoil Wicket rotten (poor ravey gets left out) when they think i'm not looking. It all came to a head when one of them fed him onions and I spent the whole night up with him while he was sick! Typical.

I hope wee ebby's ok. Hubby will have learned his lesson (whether he admits to it or not!).
